About Antwerp Management School
At AMS, research and innovation form a core pillar of the school’s mission: “Opening minds to impact the world.”
The research unit brings together internal and external scholars with expertise in business, organisation, economics, technology and innovation.
The work is organised around three broad research domains:
- Enabling Human Impact, with a focus on next-generation work and future leadership.
- Leading Organisational Transformation, covering business design, innovation and digital innovation.
- Creating Smart Ecosystems, which involves partnerships, co-creation and large-scale systemic change.
AMS takes a dual approach: generating new knowledge through academic research, and working with organisations to implement effective change. The school also emphasises three guiding values in its research agenda: a global mindset, societal awareness, and critical reflection.
Overall, AMS’s research field is oriented towards harnessing management science to enable meaningful societal and organisational impact – both by cultivating insights and by actively embedding them in practice.
