Hans Jansen

Based in Germany, Hans supports the development and implementation of climate‑smart and regenerative agriculture programs across the EMEA region. In his role, he works at the intersection of sustainable sourcing, customer engagement, and farmer support—helping to strengthen resilient supply chains and scalable climate‑positive solutions.​

Having grown up on his family farm, agriculture has always been close to Hans’ heart. After studying Agriculture in Germany, he joined ADM through a traineeship in Hamburg to deepen his understanding of global agricultural value chains. His career has since taken him across Germany and the UK, where he gathered more than a decade of experience in commercial roles within origination and grain export trading—building a strong foundation in market dynamics and customer-focused solutions.​

Hans holds a Diploma in Agricultural Sciences from the University of Bonn, specializing in Agricultural and Food Economics. He is a key member of ADM’s Climate Smart team, working in a hybrid role within the regional regenerative agriculture program. Leveraging strong commercial expertise and agricultural knowledge, he works closely with farmers and customers to develop tailored solutions that strengthen farmer resilience and advance sustainable sourcing across EMEA
